Christmas Baking List

I'm linking to several different cookie recipes I want to bake this year.
Blueberry Crumb Bars (this summer's blueberry crop was amazing)

Of course, I'll have the usual sugar cookies, chocolate chip, and oatmeal. I'm planning on baking up big batches for Christmas gifts.

I'm in the mood to bake this year :)

4th of July Vanilla Tart

Recipe from "Taste of Home, 1997 Annual Recipes" page 135
Crust:
3/4 cup butter (you can use margarine....but don't) softened
1/2 cup powdered sugar
1-1/2 cups all-purpose flour

Filling:
1 package (10 oz) vanilla chips, melted and cooled
1/4 whipping cream
1 package (8oz) of cream cheese, softened

Toppings:
1 pint fresh, sliced strawberries
1 cup fresh blueberries
1 cup fresh raspberries

Glaze:
1/2 cup pineapple juice
1/4 cup sugar
1 tbs. cornstarch
1/2 tsp lemon juice

Cream butter and powdered sugar. Beat in flour (mixture will be crumbly). Pat into the bottom of a greased 12-in. pizza pan. Bake at 300 degrees for 25-28 minutes or until lightly browned. Cool.

Beat melted chips and cream. Add cream cheese and beat until smooth. Spread over cooled crust. Arrange berries over the filling. In a saucepan, combine glaze ingredients. Bring to a boil over medium heat. Boil for 2 minutes or until thickened. Stir continuously. Cool and brush over fruit. Chill at least 1 hour before serving.
